Opus One, Music Director and Conductor

Gail Rowland is an orchestra director in the Lee’s Summit School District, teaching grades four through eight at Summit Lakes Middle School Longview Farms Elementary, and Hawthorn Hill Elementary School.  Gail Rowland was the Director of Orchestras at Pleasant Ridge Middle School in the Blue Valley School district from 1997-2005.  The Pleasant Ridge Middle School  Orchestras under the guidance of Ms. Rowland performed at the Kansas Music Educators Association In-Service Workshop in 2002 and 2005. 

     Miss Rowland obtained a Bachelors in cello performance in 1993 from Wichita State University and a Masters Degree in Education from Baker University in 2002.  Miss Rowland is the cellist in the Armande String Quartet and enjoys performing with the Kansas City Civic Orchestra.
