No doubt about it, the Youth Symphony of Kansas City offers an exceptional music education experience.

For more than 40 years the Youth Symphony of Kansas City has provided educational opportunities for young musicians to perform before community-wide audiences and to maintain excellence in performance. To provide such an exceptional opportunity to many, the Youth Symphony now has four full orchestras, two string orchestras, and two flute choirs.

All across America young musicians are playing in youth symphonies. In a few years they will become the musicians of our major symphony orchestras, music educators, board members, amateur musicians and arts advocates - and above all, responsible parents who give the gift of music to their children. Support for the Youth Symphony of Kansas City is not just support for music or education of young people; it is support for the best we can be as a community.
