Since 1958 the Youth Symphony of Kansas
City has enriched the education of talented young musicians in the Kansas City
area by providing opportunities to study and perform classical
music. Today more than 300 musicians, ages 9 through 21, participate in a program of four full orchestras and one string orchestra.
